Crytek's work has in fact succeeded in the intent to fully identify any user who tries to approach it,
thanks to a stunning visual impact, simple but millimeter gameplay and a truly incredible general feeling.
After the arrival of the first chapter on Oculus Quest, and after the abandonment of the PCVR market by Meta,
however, we did not know what would become of the already announced sequel to this unmissable German pearl;
but today we can finally reveal it to you, because The Climb 2 comes out exactly
in a few hours exclusively on the Facebook standalone. So let's not get lost in chat,
and let's start immediately with the review of the most anticipated title of the season for Meta Quest.

For those who had lived on the moon until yesterday,
or for those who have never tasted the thrill of virtual reality,
The Climb is basically a climbing game, in which - in the shortest possible time
you will have to climb a fair multitude of surfaces with the your own hands;
being alert to the dangers that surround you, and trying not to fall ruinously off a cliff.
A game for brave people, who are not afraid of heights and who do not let themselves be frightened by titanic feats,
but who will find at the end of each path a sense of personal fulfillment that has very few equals in the world of VR.

This second chapter basically offers us the same gameplay as the original product,
with two variations on the gameplay front, new maps and a totally new setting.

On the playful front, everything is exactly as you remember it.
By moving your virtual hands within the space,
you will have to cling to the right ledges to try to reach the three checkpoints scattered around the rocky wall you are facing,
paying attention to the unsafe holds and constantly sprinkling your hands with chalk.
The latter powder will in fact be necessary to maintain a sufficient stamina to move from one grip to another,
since it will tend to decrease every time you hang with one hand on the ledges.
The mechanics linked to chalk is undoubtedly the most important and interesting playful element of the entire operation,
and is slavishly re-proposed in this iteration, however, giving us a decidedly shorter time to enter.
