Quest 2 has recently given us an impact comparable to many of the first - big - PCVR titles,
both in terms of glance and in terms of pure gameplay.
Alas, however, the first Quest still holds in check a hardware that we know is capable of giving us much,
much more, mainly as regards the pure visual ecstasy, which only virtual reality is able to give us.
Here, the emblem of this brake, as well as how one should absolutely not make a video game,
is demonstrated by one of those titles that were passed off
as the flagship of the latest standalone: Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister.

Pixel Toys is definitely not a software house made up of inexperienced,
and they had amply demonstrated it with that Drop Dead that was able to give us those House of the Dead vibes,
which many look for in the VR world. The product in question, however,
demonstrates exactly the opposite, and gives us a scandalous feeling in the shooting,
a ridiculous technical impact, and a first-grade game design; but let's go in order.
In Battle Sister, clearly set in one of the many narrative lines that make up the Warhammer phenomenon,
we will play one of the sisters declared in the title, intent on saving humanity from some dangerous antagonists.
Nothing new on the western front, therefore, so much so that the narrative context of Battle Sister does not go one
iota of the most vulgar and impersonal guerrilla sci-fi fantasy vein,
which has nothing to say either on the contextualization front, or on the screenplay front.
Not bad, because in a first-person FPS what matters is mostly shooting,
and having fun eliminating the highest number of enemies, making us feel indestructible and lethal heroes.
